A crypto bull run is a rising tape. A CFD is how this desk trades it.
A crypto bull run is a run of weeks or months when Bitcoin, and then the coins that follow it, keeps making higher highs. Pullbacks happen. They do not end the rise. People look this up because they want to get paid by that rise. On FxPro the instrument, where your entity actually lists it, is a crypto CFD: you trade the price, and you do not withdraw a coin to a wallet. This page does not say a bull run is underway on 4 October 2026, and it names no target.
What counts as the run
Traders use the label after the fact, for the big advances that followed the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Bitcoin halvings. The lengths were not the same. A few green days are not a bull run. A bull run is the stretch where dips get bought and the highs keep stepping up.
If you need a date for the next peak, you will not get one here. Anyone selling a start date is selling a story.
Buying a coin and buying a CFD are different bets
A coin in your own wallet is yours. A crypto CFD at a broker is a contract on the price. You can be long the rise. You can also be closed by margin if the pullback is larger than the spare margin. The rise is the reason people show up. The pullback is the reason many of them leave poorer.
Check the symbol in the client area. If Bitcoin or Ethereum is not listed for your entity, it is not available to you. Do not assume a global menu.
The trade people actually mess up
They buy the third strong candle, size it like the move cannot reverse, and then meet an ordinary dip. In a real bull run those dips are normal. On a CFD they are also the moment a fat position dies.
Open the demo and place one small long. Watch what a 3 percent dip does to the margin. Then decide if you still want the live account. Scalping the same tape is a different job: the scalping notes.
A small long, written out
Say the account is whatever you actually fund. You buy one crypto CFD, not five. The stop sits under the last pullback you can see, not under a number you hope for. If that stop would cost more than a small slice of the account, the size is wrong before the bull run even matters.
Then you wait. A bull run pays the people who are still in after the ordinary red day. It does not pay the people who were all-in for the screenshot. Spread and overnight financing, if your symbol charges it, come off the result. Read them in the ticket, not in a forum.
FAQ
Does FxPro pay me if Bitcoin rises?
Only if you have a long CFD open, the symbol exists on your entity, and the move beats spread and any financing. Nothing here is a promise of profit.
Is a bull run happening today?
This page does not make that call. 4 October 2026 is the day the page was written, not a signal.
75% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. A bull run does not change that.
